Het is vandaag alweer precies 32 jaar geleden dat de spaceshuttle Challenger tijdens vlucht STS-51-L explodeerde. In die tijd was ik gefascineerd door de muziek van Jean-Michel Jarre. Een van de astronauten, Ron McNair, zou een saxofoon solo opnemen tijdens die vlucht voor een nieuw project. Helaas heeft het nooit zo mogen zijn.

Via de filmschoolrejects kwam ik deze heerlijk positieve en opbeurende montage tegen over de wereld van morgen. De cinematografische post-apocalyptische wereld heeft ons gelukkig wel een paar lessen geleerd: Blijf binnen.
